Denver is more than mountains, ski towns, and blue skies. Long before Denver became

known for its safe neighborhoods, outdoor lifestyle, breweries, and rapidly changing skyline, its identity was being built block by block by the people who called these community’s home. From Five Points and the East Side of Denver to Park Hill, Aurora, and the Montbello, each neighborhood has contributed something unique to the culture, music, fashion, and attitude that make Colorado what it is today. Denver style wasn't created in a boardroom. It came from the streets, the barbershops, the record stores, the parks, the neighborhood parties, the corner stores, and the people who found ways to express themselves even when the city wasn't always making room for them. If you want to understand Denver style, you have to understand where it came

from.
